Ian Hyde (Head Teacher), Kelvin Grove Primary School
Full DBS checked and safeguarding compliant and trained, Jake and his team have been working in Kelvin Grove since the Summer of 2021.
They provide high quality support for the school with a range of sporting activities across the school day. From the outset they have shown a dedication and professionalism and become part of the staff team. They listen to what is needed and with a flexible approach provide a bespoke package for the school. They are developing a real specialism in understanding and working with some of our special needs groups.
Jake and his team have provided PE activities as part of the curriculum for PPA and teacher cover. They support playground and lunchtime supervision, planning a wide range of lunchtime activities from early years up to year 6.
They have organised and run sports day events across the school. They also provide a wide range of after school sporting clubs including athletics, football and multi sports.
I would highly recommend Jake and his team for work within any school or youth club.

Since ABC Sports Stars have been delivering sessions within our Nursery we have found our children at The Village nursery have benefitted greatly from the sessions.
After the outbreak of Covid we found a lack of confidence within our children’s physical development which has been greatly improved due to having ABC Sports Stars providing fun and effective sessions by giving the children lots of 1-1 support throughout.
I feel ABC Sports Stars are a great addition to extra curriculum activities that brings enthusiasm and fun to learning whilst incorporating the areas of the EYFS within each session.
One of the main things that we love about the ABC Sports stars coaches are that they are very communicative when planning their sessions and try to incorporate the theme of learning and area of topic that is being taught by our key workers within their sessions
